CHASS Connect: About the Program

CHASS Connect is an exciting program exclusively for freshman students in the College of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences. The program invites students to participate in a unique learning community shaped to ensure that participants succeed and excel in their first year at the University of California, Riverside. Students in the program enroll in a year-long sequence and will enjoy the benefit of significant interaction with program faculty and graduate teaching assistants, focused and personalized advising, and peer mentorship throughout the first year. The program consists of one central theme analyzed through various standpoints throughout the year, with supplemental help from peer educators on the basics of college life.
